Segway appears to be about to launch two new e-scooters in Europe: the eKickScooter Ninebot E3 and the eKickScooter Ninebot E3 Pro. These entry-level scooters were revealed at CES 2025 at the start of the year. The Pro has recently appeared at European retailers, pointing to an imminent official launch.

The Segway eKickScooter Ninebot E3 and E3 Pro are about to officially launch in Europe. These two scooters were unveiled as entry-level models in the brand’s wider 2025 range at CES in January.

The Segway E3 series e-scooters are designed for commuting in the city. They can both be folded, and work with Apple Find My to help you to track their location. Both versions have a 400W rear wheel motor with 800 peak power, tackling up to 18% slopes. Dual suspension and 10-inch tubeless tires are designed to make your ride more comfortable. There is also a traction control system (TCS) and accessories like a headlight, brake lights and indicators. Plus, Bluetooth connectivity allows you to view journey information and some settings on your smartphone.

The main difference between the E3 and the E3 Pro is the battery. The E3 is equipped with a 276 Wh range for 30 km (~18.6 miles) range in sport mode at 25 kph (~15.5 mph) or 45 km (~28.0 miles) in eco mode at 15 kph (~9.3 kph). Meanwhile, the E3 Pro has a larger 368 Wh battery for up to 40 km (~24.9 miles) range at top speed, or 55 km (~34.1 miles) riding slower in eco mode. There is an optional 184Wh range extender for up to 80 km (~49.7 miles) range. Due to the difference in battery size, the E3 Pro is slightly heavier than the E3, weighing 17.9 kg (~39.5 lbs) and 17.5 kg (~38.6 lbs), respectively.

French retailer Fastride and Dutch retailer Moevs are already accepting pre-orders for the Segway eKickScooter Ninebot E3 Pro in this market. The e-scooter is priced at €449 and is said to be launching in mid-June. The EU pricing of the Segway eKickScooter Ninebot E3 remains to be seen, though it will likely be cheaper than the Pro variant.
