Segway Muxi Pro 9-speed cargo e-bicycle launches with 750W motor and optional second passenger seat

Segway has released the Muxi Pro e-bicycle, an upgrade to last year’s Muxi. The cargo bike is designed for city shopping trips and local commutes, with added standard features for convenience and safety. Optional accessories further expand the e-bike’s usefulness for everyday use.
The Muxi Pro has a maximum 73 mile (117 km) range using a 716 Wh battery coupled with a 750W motor and a 9-speed auto-shifting drivetrain. The motor has a peak torque of 80 Nm (59 ft-lbs), allowing it to carry riders weighing up to 265 lbs. (120 kg) and a maximum payload weight of 418 lbs. (190 kg) across city streets and unpaved roads.
The e-bike has a maximum speed of 28 mph (45 kph) and uses dual 180 mm (7.1 in.) hydraulic disc brakes with hill descent control, hill start assist, and traction control technologies for safe control across dry and wet road surfaces. It rides on fat 20” x 3” tires with a 70 mm (2.8 in.) front suspension for comfort, and fenders to help prevent riders from becoming dirtied by road debris and mud kicked up by the wheels.

The Muxi Pro comes with signal lights, a 600-lumen automatic headlight, and a rear brake light for safety, which can be further increased with an optional rearview mirror and radar. A front and middle basket can be added, along with a rear passenger seat (120 lbs./54 kg max), to increase its carry capacity.
The Muxi Pro has an MSRP of $1,999.99 and will be available for purchase in Anthracite or Reef Blue starting September 22, 2026 from Segway and its authorized dealers. Readers wanting a lighter mobility option can look through the company's other rides in the Segway store on Amazon.
