Touroll has a new e-bike on offer, the Urbano 3, at a very reasonable price of €1,049. The model is available via Geekmaxi and shipping is said to be from an EU warehouse, thus resulting in shorter delivery times and avoiding the risk of customs duties. But the processing or enforcement of warranty claims may be rather complicated. Click here to see the list of countries eligible for shipping.
The manufacturer installs a mid-drive motor from Ananda for the Urbano 3, which is said to provide support with a torque of 70 Nm and a speed of up to 25 km/h. A decently-sized 468 Wh battery is integrated into the frame, but can be removed and conveniently charged outside the e-bike. This is useful in cases where users do not wish to bring the bike into the flat or where there is no power socket in the bike storage area.
A suspension fork with a lockout function and a suspension travel of 80 millimeters is installed. There is a derailleur gear system with seven gears, which should also allow riders to comfortably tackle inclines without the motor. As for declines and frequent stopping, the hydraulic disc brakes promise powerful deceleration. The bike weighs in at a hefty 32 kilograms, but comes with a comprehensive range of equipment, including mudguards, a kickstand and a pannier rack. Lighting is also on the front and back, so the bike can be used safely and legally at night.
