A new and very well-equipped e-bike from KTM is now available for purchase. The Macina Style 810 Di2 has an official price tag of €4,999, which, although very expensive, comes with correspondingly high-quality equipment. The manufacturer installs a Shimano Cues Di2 derailleur with eleven gears, which is an electric and wireless gear system that can also operate automatically if desired. As usual, the existing gear system ultimately reduces dependence on the mid-motor. A Bosch Performance Line CX motor (BDU3840) is installed, which is powered by a removable battery integrated into the frame. The battery capacity is specified as a large 800 Wh, which should result in a decent range.
The e-bike itself weighs 27.4 kilograms and the maximum permissible weight is 145 kilograms. It features a Suntour NCX32-E Air L0 suspension fork with 63 millimeters of travel, meaning that users have to do without a shock absorber, but not without a suspension seat post. A Kiox 500 display and an LED remote are installed, and navigation instructions can also be shown on the display. However, a paid subscription is required for the full range of functions.
Schwalbe Green Marathon Performance tires are installed. Other features of the trekking e-bike include a front light with a brightness of up to 170 lux, a system luggage rack and mudguards. More details can be found on the official product page.
