The Decathlon Btwin E-FL 900 folding electric bike was recently revealed at Eurobike 2025. This upcoming e-bike is more compact and lighter than the older Btwin E-Fold 900. It also features a rear-wheel Mahle motor, Schwalbe tires and accessories including lights and fenders.

Decathlon has unveiled a new electric bicycle at Eurobike 2025: the Btwin E-FL 900 folding bike. This upcoming model builds on the Btwin E-Fold 900, which was released in Europe in May 2025.

The new Btwin E-FL 900 will feature a more powerful Mahle X30 rear motor, with up to 40 Nm torque. However, the accompanying battery is smaller, with a 171 Wh capacity for up to 45 km (~28 miles) range in eco mode. Another change is smaller Schwalbe 16 x 2-inch tires; the Btwin E-Fold 900 has larger 20-inch tires.

This new model has a similar quick folding mechanism to its predecessor, with the addition of a foot at the base of the seat post for enhanced stability. When folded, this e-bike is more compact than the older version, measuring 72 x 68 x 41 cm (~28.3 x 26.8 x 16.1 inches). It is also over 3.0 kg (~6.6 lbs) lighter at 15.9 kg (~35.0 lbs). Accessories include fenders, a 30 lux front light and 3 candela rear lights.

The full specification of this e-bike has yet to be revealed. The Decathlon Btwin E-FL 900 will be priced at €1,999, making it €300 more expensive than its predecessor. The company has yet to announce when this electric bicycle will be released.
