Full Vivo Pad5 Pro and Pad SE specs leak as first official promotional videos show new tablets in detail
Vivo will be unveiling a slew of new devices next week. Ultimately, the company has focused more on the X200s and X200 Ultra in recent weeks than its other forthcoming devices. However, it has now published promotional videos for the Pad5 Pro and Pad SE, which we have embedded below.
Ultimately, the videos reveal only the basics about both tablets. For example, Vivo has reiterated that the Pad5 Pro will leverage MediaTek's Dimensity 9400 chipset. As a result, Vivo's next flagship tablet should sit somewhere between the Oppo Pad4 Pro and Galaxy Tab S10 Plus (curr. $845.99 on Amazon) when it comes to performance.
Nonetheless, a leaker has shared full specifications not only for the Pad5 Pro but also for the cheaper Pad SE. Apparently, the Pad5 Pro is set to complement its powerful chipset and 12,050 mAh battery with 66 W wired charging and an eight-speaker set-up. Also, all variants are slated to ship with a 13-inch display that delivers 1,200 nits peak brightness, a 144 Hz refresh rate and a 3.1K resolution in a 3:2 aspect ratio. Reportedly, Vivo has created standard and ultra-light versions, which will come in at 635 g and 578 g, respectively, with 6.07 mm and 5.94 mm thicknesses.
The same is said to be the case with the Pad SE, which will start at 559 g and 6.8 mm. However, there will also be a 'soft version' that weighs 10 g more with a 0.07 mm increase in device thickness. The same leaker adds that all Pad SE variants will feature an 8,500 mAh battery that supports 15 W wired charging, as well as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset and 8 GB of RAM. The Pad SE is tipped to contain a smaller dispaly than the Pad5 Pro too, although it will still measure 12.3-inches across with a 2.5K native resolution, a 3:2 aspect ratio and a 90 Hz refresh rate.
