Honor has just launched the X60 GT, which it packs with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset and a whopping battery capacity. However, the company has another batch of gaming-focused devices in line for release tomorrow. While Honor has already gone to launches to tease its GT Pro smartphone, it has said less about its Pad GT tablet.
With the latter's launch right around the corner, Honor has now offered a glimpse into some of the hardware that will make up its next gaming tablet. On the one hand, the Honor Pad GT is confirmed to feature a 10,100 mAh battery that supports 66 W wired fast charging like many of Honor's mid-range smartphones. In a series of new teaser images, the company has also outlined that the Pad GT will keep its battery in check via a 22,000 mm² vapour chamber cooling solution.
On the other hand, the Pad GT will find itself with an 11.5-inch display that combines a 2,800 x 1,840-pixel native resolution with 144 Hz refresh and 240 Hz touch sampling rates. Based on the specifications revealed so far, it looks like the Pad GT contains much of the same hardware as the Honor Pad V9 that we reviewed last year. With a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset seemingly at the helm, the Honor Pad GT will likely fall behind other Android tablets such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE (curr. $419 on Amazon) and the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro while outperforming others like the OnePlus Pad 2. Honor has not yet confirmed whether it plans to offer the Pad GT globally, though.
