The GeForce RTX 5060 series is rumoured to be officially landing tomorrow, including 8 GB and 16 GB versions of the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti. Recent leaks suggested that this would only apply for desktop variants, though.
While nothing has been officially revealed yet, early retail listings for forthcoming RTX 5060-powered laptops reinforces this suggestion. As we have covered separately, Nvidia is tipped to unveil desktop RTX 5060 cards tomorrow.
By contrast, Acer Hong Kong indicates that the laptop version of the GeForce RTX 5060 will not launch until May. The same listing also appears to confirm the inclusion of GDDR7 VRAM in the laptop version of the RTX 5060, albeit only 8 GB's worth. Additionally, the listing reveals that the RTX 5060 will be headed to the Predator Helios Neo 16S AI, which Acer presented during CES 2025 to succeed Intel Raptor Lake-powered models (curr. $1,469 on Amazon) before releasing it with RTX 5070 Ti GPUs.
Acer will complement the RTX 5060 with an Intel Core Ultra 7 255HX processor and a 16-inch OLED display, too. On the face of it, little else will separate RTX 5060 variants from their RTX 5070 Ti counterparts. However, it remains to be seen whether Acer also plans to offer the RTX 5060 with the Core Ultra 9 275HX at this stage.
