The Predator Helios Neo is a relatively new line of high-end laptops form Acer. Unlike their non-Neo counterparts, they aim to balance portability, aesthetics, and performance. But alas, even it is not immune to the AI bug. Thus, the Acer Predator Helios Neo 16S AI is born with some impressive specs.

As illustrated by the above images, the Acer Predator Helios Neo 16S AI isn't your flashy gaming laptop. While it does borrow some aesthetics, it keeps it low-profile. Under the hood, you get up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti and Intel Core Ultra 9 275 Arrow Lake HX. Alternatively, an Intel Core Ultra 7 255HX is also available.
Acer offers the Predator Helios Neo 16S AI with a 16-inch WQXGA (2,560 x 1,600) OLED panel with 400 nits peak brightness and Nvidia G-Sync. One version comes with 240 Hz refresh rate (1 ms response time) and 165 Hz (3 ms). Memory maxes out at 32 GB (DDR5-6400) and 2 TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD.
There are other compromises that set the Acer Predator Helios Neo 16S AI apart from the other Predator Helios SKUs, such as 2x Thunderbolt 4.0 ports instead of Thunderbolt 5.0, Wi-Fi 6E (instead of Wi-Fi 7) and fifth-gen cooling fans (vs sixth-gen). Other specs include a 1080p webcam and 76 Wh battery.
Acer hasn't specified when the Predator Helios Neo 16S AI will be available for purchase or its cost.
