Acer has launched the Predator Helios Neo 16 AI alongside the Neo 18 AI. As the name suggest, the former is the 16-inch counterpart of the former, and can be configured with the same choice of RTX 5070 or 5070 Ti graphics.
The Helios Neo 16 AI will also have Intel Core Ultra 7 255HX-powered base models, or top-end SKUs with 9 275HX processors instead. It can also be maxed out with 64GB of RAM and 2TB (PCIe Gen 4) SSDs. Those internals will also benefit from 5th-gen Acer AeroBlade cooling and support DLSS 4.
However, the Neo 16 AI can also be ordered with a 2560x1600 OLED display, as opposed to the miniLED option of the 18 AI. The former will go at 240Hz rather than 250Hz, although one of the 16 AI's non-OLED options is the brightest option of the line at 500 nits rather than 400.
Acer also backs the Neo 16 AI to deliver its series' apparently smarter approach to the gaming life, with access to Nvidia NIM, a service rated to help the user to build new virtual assistants, automated productivity tools or even agents.
The Predator Helios Neo 16 AI or PHN16-73 is projected to become available in North America from April 2025 and in the EMEA from May, starting at $1,899.99 and €1,799 respectively.
