Acer has expanded its Predator Helios Neo lineup by launching a new Predator Helios Neo 18 AI laptop. To recall, Acer introduced a Predator Helios Neo 16S AI laptop at CES 2025. The Predator Helios Neo is a relatively new line of high-end laptops from Acer that aims to offer high-performance laptops. Acer packs some impressive specs in its latest Predator Helios Neo 18 AI laptop.
Under the hood, the Acer Predator Helios Neo 18 AI is powered by a recently released Intel Core Ultra 9 275 HX or Intel Core Ultra 7 255 HX processor. You get Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU, which comes with the latest Nvidia DLSS 4 to boost FPS, reduce latency, and improve image quality while gaming. It has a capacity of up to 64 GB of DDR5 RAM and 2 TB of PCIe Gen 2 SSD storage.
Acer offers the Predator Helios Neo 18 AI with a large 18-inch Mini LED WQXGA panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, a peak brightness of 500 nits, a response time of just 3 ms, and a refresh rate of 250 Hz. Please note that the display specs will vary depending on the variant you choose. Furthermore, the gaming machine offers 100% sRGB support, which should be suitable for content creation.
Dimensionally, the Predator Helios Neo 18 AI measures 400.9 x 307.9 x 14.9 mm (15.7 x 12.1 x 0.58 inches) and weighs 3.3 kg (7.27 lbs). Acer packs all the standard port options into the machine, including 2 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, 2 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, Thunderbolt 4, 1 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, HDMI, a microSD card reader, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The company's latest gaming machine supports WiFi 6E and Bluetooth v5.3.
Other specs include an FHD (1080p) IR webcam, two speakers with DTS X Ultra support, and the inclusion of new AI capabilities such as Acer Purified Voice 2.0 and Acer Purified View 2.0.
Available in a black colorway, the Acer Predator Helios Neo 18 AI starts at $2,199/€1,799 and will be available in North America in May and in Europe in June 2025.
