Since its official launch at IFA in Fall 2024, the Acer Swift 16 AI laptop has been one of the better value propositions in the Intel Lunar Lake ecosystem. This is partly due to the fact that the notebook has seen some good discounts over the past months. For instance, the Acer Swift 16 AI was selling for $849.99 back in February 2025 and for only $749.99 in March.
The Acer Swift 16 AI has, once again, recorded a substantial price drop at Best Buy. Coming in at just $799.99, the laptop is only $50 more expensive than its lowest-ever price.
Acer Swift 16 AI hardware specifications
The Acer Swift 16 AI is based on the Intel Core Ultra 7 256V APU with 16 GB of RAM, 1 TB of storage, and a 16-inch touch-capable OLED display. According to the testing done by PCMag, the OLED display covers 100% sRGB, 98% DCI-P3, and 95% AdobeRGB. The laptop also reportedly manages 400 nits of max brightness. So, coupled with OLED’s signature contrast and the smooth 120 Hz refresh rate, the Acer Swift 16 AI has a panel that is perfectly suitable for both content consumption and content creation.
However, the Acer Swift 16 AI will only be able to handle some light content creation work since there is no discrete GPU here. The Core Ultra 7 256V is a power-efficient, mid-range APU with 8 cores and a 4.8 GHz boost clock for the P-cores. Per our measurements, the Core Ultra 7 256V is plenty fast for everyday tasks like editing documents.
Moreover, the Arc 140V is a pretty decent gaming chip as far as low-end APUs are concerned. So, indie titles and lighter games like the Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown can be run at the display’s native refresh rate at FHD/ultra.
Finally, the Acer Swift 16 AI also boasts stellar battery life. PCMag measured a runtime of more than 20 hours in their battery rundown test.
