Acer Predator Triton Neo 16 unveiled with Intel Meteor Lake processors and a 3.2K screen

Acer unveiled the Acer Predator Triton 16 (curr. US$1,600 on Amazon) at CES 2023 this year. Less than a year later, it received yet another upgrade and is now called the Predator Triton Neo 16. Its most apparent change is the addition of new Intel Meteor Lake processors. Acer has also thrown in two display configurations, which we'll discuss in a bit.

In typical Acer fashion, it hasn't specified which Meteor Lake CPU the Predator Triton Neo 16 launches with. Core Ultra 9 and Core Ultra 7 SKUs could be on the cards, with the former being available first. One can pair it with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 dGPU. There's no word about how much memory/storage the laptop will offer.

Acer offers up to a 3.2K (3,200 x 2,000) 16:10 165 Hz LCD panel with the Predator Triton Neo 16, which covers 100% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut and supports Nvidia G-Sync and Advanced Optimius. The other alternative could be a WQXGA (2,560 x 1,600) panel with the same refresh rate.

The Acer Predator Triton Neo 16 comes with the company's in-house AeroBlade 3D fans and liquid metal for both the CPU and GPU. One can dynamically switch between power profiles using the dedicated Predator Switch button. The laptop will hit shelves in February 2024, starting at $1,699.
