ASUS ExpertBook B3 presented in two sizes with 4G connectivity and Intel Meteor Lake processors
ASUS has refreshed its ExpertBook B3 series, which it presented today alongside the Zenbook 14 OLED and the ExpertBook CX54 Chromebook Plus. While the ExpertBook B3 series is not as slim as the Zenbook 14 OLED, ASUS provides more configuration options for the former than the latter.
For example, the ExpertBook B3 comes in 14-inch and 16-inch variants, which ASUS has assigned B3404 and B3604 model numbers, respectively. Additionally, the company offers three architecture options, starting with Raptor Lake-U processors and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 GPU. Alternatively, the ExpertBook B3 series can be configured with Raptor Lake-P or Meteor Lake processors, both with integrated graphics solutions (iGPUs).
At launch, ASUS will sell the updated ExpertBook B3 series with a Core Ultra 7 155H processor, as well as 32 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM and a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. Moreover, the business-focused laptops can be equipped with a 4G modem or a second SSD through an M.2 2230 slot. Meanwhile, ASUS includes a fingerprint sensor and an IR camera as standard, both of which are Windows Hello certified.
With that being said, there will be a few display options up to a 2,560 x 1,600-pixel panel that outputs at 500 nits with full DCI-P3 colour space coverage. Also, ASUS will offer the laptops with 50 Wh and 63 Wh batteries, depending on the SKU chosen. Unfortunately, ASUS has not shared pricing information yet for any models, nor when the new ExpertBook B3 series will begin shipping.
