MSI has revealed a new version of the Prestige 13 AI Evo, a 16:10 laptop now available with a 2.8K OLED display. Also equipped with a large battery, the Prestige 13 AI Evo comes with a choice between Core Ultra 5 125H and Core Ultra 7 155H processors, a pair of Intel Meteor Lake-H parts that feature new Arc iGPUs.

MSI has introduced a new version of the Prestige 13 AI Evo. While the new machine features overhauled internals, it adopts its predecessor's design and many of its features. Thus, the Prestige 13 AI Evo remains one of the lightest laptops around at 990 g, despite its comparatively large 75 Wh battery.

In short, the new edition offers two notable upgrades over the outgoing model. On the one hand, MSI has moved the Prestige 13 AI Evo onto Intel's Meteor Lake architecture, which brings CPU improvements and substantial GPU upgrades. Specifically, up to the Core Ultra 7 155H is available, a Meteor Lake-H series processor that contains two more performance cores than the Core i7-1360P delivered in the current model.

On the other hand, MSI has replaced the IPS panel from the previous Prestige 13 AI Evo with an OLED equivalent. Still a 13.3-inch and 16:10 panel, the new display outputs at 2,880 x 1,800 pixels with 500 nits peak brightness. The combination of a more economical processor and a more power-hungry display results in an unchanged official 15-hour battery life estimate, although real-world runtimes are unlikely to get close to MSI's estimates.

The new Prestige 13 AI Evo is already available to pre-order in multiple markets, with deliveries starting at the end of the month. At launch, the laptop can be ordered from Newegg in the US for $1,049 with a Core Ultra 5 125H, 16 GB RAM and 512 GB SSD. Alternatively, MSI charges $200 extra for a more powerful Core Ultra 7 155H, which also adds a 1 TB SSD. Conversely, the latter configuration can be purchased in the Eurozone for €1,599, including taxes, but with 32 GB of RAM. Please see MSI's website for more details.
