Gigabyte AORUS 15 and 17 to be refreshed with Meteor Lake platforms

The AORUS 15 and 17 2024 are still slated to come with WINDFORCE Infinity cooling systems for their NVIDIA RTX 4000-series graphics, and also even frankly look just like their 2023 counterparts in their new teaser material. Then again, they are touted to gain an edge thanks to an 'upgrade' to Meteor Lake processors.

Gigabyte has yet to specify exactly which "Intel Core Ultra 7" platforms the 15 or 17 2024 are going to get. Similarly, the OEM somewhat vaguely hints at "captivating" QHD displays augmented by "esports-grade 240Hz" tech, with TÜV Rheinland-verified "low blue light and flicker-free" attributes, for now. 

Then again, it is much more clear on the point that they will come with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, not to mention new or updated AI features. They include access to Microsoft Azure for a range of system-wide performance optimizations via the new AI Nexus app, not to mention AI Power Gear for potentially enhanced power efficiency.

Furthermore, the AORUS 17 or 15 2024 should be able to unlock "the magic of generative AI" thanks to 14th-gen neural processing units (NPUs), with a dedicated Stable Diffusion-powered Generator.

Gigabyte has yet to set a formal launch date for these latest AORUS 15/17 refreshes, although the almost doubtless impending event's new preview might help explain the new $1,699 (8% off typical) price on this RTX 4070/Core i7-13700H/16GB/1TB 17-inch model on Amazon today (December 17, 2023).
