The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 (Gen 9) is now official with the Intel Meteor Lake processors, DDR5X memory, and PCIe Gen 4 storage. The laptop rocks a 14-inch touch display alongside Wi-Fi 6E/7 as well as cellular connectivity. Powering the internals is a 57 Wh battery that, according to Lenovo, is made from 80% Post Consumer Content (PCC).

Lenovo has officially unveiled the ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 (Gen 9) laptop with Intel’s latest Meteor Lake Core Ultra processors. The notebook packs a 2-in-1 convertible form factor with a 360° hinge and a 14-inch touch screen.

Starting with the display, Lenovo explains that the ThinkPad ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 Gen 9 can be equipped with up to a 14-inch OLED touch display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, a 2.8K resolution, 400 nits of brightness, and HDR500 True Black certification. There is also an 8 MP MIPI Computer Vision webcam with a physical private shutter. Unfortunately, we don’t have any information about the other display configurations.

Aside from the Intel Core Ultra CPUs, the Gen 9 ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 G9 features up to 64 GB of DDR5X memory, up to 2 TB of PCIe Gen 4 storage, and a 57 Wh battery. Additionally, the notebook boasts Wi-Fi 6E or Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, and 5G/4G connectivity.

When it comes to the port selection, the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 (Gen 9) includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB Type-A (5 Gbps) inputs, a single HDMI 2.1, and one 3.5 mm audio jack. Although the port selection is solid, the inclusion of an SD card slot would have made the situation even better.

Finally, Lenovo has announced that the ThinkPad X1 2-in-1 (Gen 9) will be available to buy in April 2024 at a starting price of €1,879 which comes out to about $2057.
