Lenovo has announced the ThinkPad Executive 16-inch Backpack as part of its MWC 2024 showcase. Arriving in spring 2024, the ThinkPad Executive 16-inch Backpack will be available for under $200 with numerous features, including an RFI blocking pocket.

Lenovo has included a new backpack within its MWC 2024 showcase. While one of the cheaper devices in the company's MWC portfolio this year, the ThinkPad Executive 16-inch Backpack has its own introductory YouTube video, with Lenovo adding:

Practically speaking, the ThinkPad Executive 16-inch Backpack is large enough to contain laptops like the ThinkPad T16 Gen 3, which Lenovo exhibited at MWC 2024, too. According to the company's press release, the backpack utilises recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET) materials, which supposedly meet the 2520d ballistic standard. Additionally, the backpack has an RFI blocking pocket and two security pockets that Lenovo insists are simultaneously hidden but easy to access when needed.

Moreover, Lenovo has included various other pockets for storing everything from documents to keys and sunglasses. Furthermore, the ThinkPad Executive 16-inch Backpack has a luggage strap for attaching the backpack to a small suitcase and two side pockets that are deep enough to hold a large water bottle each. Currently, Lenovo hopes to begin selling the ThinkPad Executive 16-inch Backpack in May 2024 for $179.99. Unfortunately, Lenovo has not confirmed pricing or availability for other markets, yet.
