Specs of the RTX 5060 Ti have leaked online. The GPU packs more CUDA cores, faster GDDR 7 memory, and a higher TDP than the RTX 4060 Ti. These spec bumps could result in a meaningful performance gain over the outgoing RTX 4060 Ti.

The arrival of the RTX 5060 and the RTX 5060 Ti appears to be imminent, as recent leaks have claimed a March unveiling. For the cheaper and less powerful RTX 5060, we might be looking at a GPU with a GB206 Blackwell die alongside 8 GB of VRAM and a $299 price tag. The RTX 5060 Ti should be much more powerful and, consequently, considerably more expensive, especially the 16 GB variant.

While we don’t know exactly how powerful the RTX 5060 Ti will be, we do know now that it will pack more CUDA cores than the RTX 4060 Ti. The information comes to us courtesy of kopite7kimi who, along with revealing the specs of the RTX 5050 and the RTX 5060, has also provided some crucial details regarding the RTX 5060 Ti.

RTX 5060 Ti specifications

The RTX 5060 Ti is seemingly based on the GB206-300 GPU. There were expectations that Nvidia could use a cut-down GB205 of the RTX 5070 for the RTX 5060 Ti. But, it appears that both the RTX 5060 and the RTX 5060 Ti will use an entirely different Blackwell GPU in the GB206.

The GB206-300 inside the RTX 5060 Ti reportedly features 4,608 CUDA cores. This is an increase of 6% compared to the RTX 4060 Ti. What hasn’t increased, however, is the VRAM capacity and the bus width, as the RTX 5060 Ti allegedly enjoys the same 8/16 GB memory buffer and the 128-bit wide bus. The memory, however, is of the faster GDDR7 type.

This is rather disappointing since the RTX 4060 Ti’s 8 GB VRAM didn’t sit down well with gamers and media alike. Moreover, there will likely be a notable price increase between the 8 GB and 16 GB RTX 5060 Ti cards, as shown by Nvidia’s pricing of the two RTX 4060 Ti SKUs.

Finally, kopite7kimi claims that the RTX 5060 Ti has a 180 W TDP, an increase of 20 W vs the RTX 4060 Ti. This TDP uplift could be a sign that we are looking at higher clocks. So, faster memory, more CUDA cores, and higher clocks could result in some meaningful performance gains.

Thankfully, we’ll know soon what Nvidia has in store for us with the RTX 5060 Ti. Till then, take the leaks with a grain of salt.
