A new leak tells us AMD plans to sell two variants of the Radeon RX 9060 XT. One version will have the same VRAM as the RX 9070 XT/non-XT, and the other will be stuck at 8 GB.

With the AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 close to the finish line, focus has shifted to the rest of its RDNA 4 lineup. There could be at least two potential SKUs bearing the Radeon RX 9060 XT and Radeon RX 9060 moniker. While they're still a few weeks away from launch, a new EEC listing just showed us one of the two models.

X leaker @harukaze5719 spotted the RX 9060 XT on EEC's website. Like its Blackwell counterpart, it, too, is tipped to arrive in 8 and 16 GB flavours. If we apply that same logic to the Radeon RX 9060, it will be restricted to 8 GB VRAM. While an earlier leak stated the RX 9060 XT would come with a heavily cut-down Navi 48 GPU with 48 CUs, a nearly uncut Navi 44 die seems likelier along with GDDR6 memory modules on a 128-bit bus.

Either way, by the time the RX 9060 XT lands, Nvidia's entire Blackwell lineup will have been out and about for a while. With no competition from Intel, gamers on a budget won't have too many options to choose from, more so when the RTX 5070 won't be available initially. This is likely to extend to the RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5060 due to production setbacks at TSMC.
