Detroit: Become Human, the well-received, narrative-focused sci-fi thriller is 70% off on Steam for a limited time. Quantic Dream's adventure title was released in 2018 as a showcase for the PlayStation 4. It was later ported to PCs in 2020. The game currently has "Overwhelmingly Positive" reviews on Steam.

Quantic Dream's award-winning sci-fi thriller, Detroit: Become Human, is 70% off on Steam until 10th March. The award-winning game was released in 2018 for Sony's PlayStation 4. It was later ported to Windows PCs in 2020 with enhancements like 4K resolution, 60 fps, and other tweaks.

The game was critically well-received and sold over 9 million copies worldwide. It currently has "Overwhelmingly Positive" reviews on Steam. You play as three androids through your adventure, and the narrative has multiple branching paths to discover. The game makes it a point to tell you about this through a visual representation on a timeline where you can see all the outcomes.

Part of the fun is discovering these branching paths, encouraging you to play through sections again to see a different outcome. There are also multiple endings depending on where you end up. The story can continue even if one of your main characters dies, which pushes you to explore the timeline system.

Having said that, this is very clearly aimed at a more casual audience and, depending on your point of view, can be classified as a walking simulator with elements similar to the adventure and point-and-click genres. If you enjoyed Beyond: Two Souls or Heavy Rain, this will be right up your alley.

Speaking of which, you may also want to check out one of Quantic Dream's earlier titles, Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered, which is 80% off until 10th March. The remaster updates the textures, supports HD resolutions, and is based "on the uncut and uncensored international version of the game."
