LG is expanding its Xboom lineup with four new portable speakers designed for parties, outdoor adventures, and everyday listening. The new models promise up to 220W of output, AI-powered sound tuning, and as much as 35 hours of battery life on a single charge.

While CES doesn’t start until January 5, LG has already begun showing off the new hardware it plans to roll out in 2026. The company recently detailed its entire UltraGear Evo gaming monitor lineup, which includes multiple 5K2K displays, including a 5K Mini LED model. Now, the South Korean electronics maker is turning its attention to audio, unveiling a new Xboom speaker lineup in collaboration with artist Will.i.am. It includes four models: Xboom Stage 501, Xboom Blast, Xboom Mini, and Xboom Rock. All speakers feature AI-powered sound enhancements.

Xboom Stage 501

The Xboom Stage 501 is the most capable and feature-packed of the bunch, and it promises to liven up your karaoke nights and house parties with its powerful sound. It comes with LG’s new AI Karaoke Master feature, which is trained on over 10,000 music tracks and can remove or adjust vocals from virtually any song while also allowing users to sing solo or duet with the artist.

The Stage 501 features a five-sided cabinet design and can be set up vertically, horizontally, tilted, or mounted on a tripod, while its dual woofers, full-range drivers, and Peerless tweeters promise to deliver powerful, room-shaking audio. The speaker can be used on battery as well as plugged in. It packs a 99Wh swappable battery and offers up to 25 hours of non-stop playback. When plugged in, it can push up to 220W of power.

Xboom Blast

The Xboom Blast is being positioned as a more rugged offering that you can take outdoors, to a beach party, or on camping trips. While it has the same 99Wh battery as the Stage 501, it offers up to 35 hours of non-stop playback and up to 220W output on battery. The Blast uses three passive radiators to create an expansive soundscape outdoors.

Since the ruggedness and durability are the main focus areas, the device also meets military durability standards and features protective edge bumpers. It also includes a thoughtful side rope handle, designed to make carrying the speaker vertically through crowded beach parties or campsites much easier.

Xboom Mini and Xboom Rock

Moving to smaller form factors, LG introduced the Xboom Mini. This model features a stylish "cube" design meant to fit seamlessly into home decor, like kitchens or patios. Despite its compact size, the Mini offers 10 hours of playback and utilizes "Sound Field Enhance" to maintain audio clarity in open spaces. It's IP67 certified for water and dust resistance and includes a "Magic Strap" and tripod mount, making it versatile enough for both indoor shelving and outdoor hanging.

Rounding out the lineup is the Xboom Rock, a rugged portable speaker built for hikers and adventurers. It's tested against seven military standards for reliable performance in challenging outdoor environments and offers up to 10 hours of music playback on a single charge.

It builds upon the previous XG2 model with even better sound and an increased power output of 6W for punchier sound, and also adds LE Audio Auracast support, a feature that lets users wirelessly connect multiple speakers for a shared listening experience during group outings.

The new 2026 Xboom "xboom by will.i.am" lineup is set to hit global markets in 2026, though LG has yet to share exact availability and pricing details. The new speakers will be on display at LG's CES booth (#15004) in the Las Vegas Convention Center, from January 6 through 9.
