LG has expanded its popular ultra-light LG Gram lineup by introducing two new Pro models: the 16Z90TR and the 17Z90TR. Both models come with a similar set of features, albeit with a few tweaks. The major difference is the screen sizes; LG offers two screen sizes under the new Gram Pro lineup, the 16-inch and 17-inch.
The LG Gram Pro models are productivity-focused ultralight notebooks designed for dynamic and on-the-go users. Dimensionally, the 16-inch variant measures 14.1 x 9.39 x 0.57/0.62 inches (358.1 x 251.4 x 14.4/15.7 mm) and weighs around 3 lbs (1.3 kg). The 17Z90TR model boasts dimensions of 14.1 x 10.4 x 0.57/0.63 inches (358.1 x 264.1 x 14.4/15.7 mm) and tips the scales at just 3.26 lbs (1.4 kg).
LG offers both laptops in a single Arrow Lake configuration. Under the hood, the 16Z90TR and the 17Z90TR notebooks are powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 series 2 255H chipset paired with a dedicated Nvidia RTX 5050 GPU, up to 32 GB of RAM, and up to 2 TB of SSD storage. Speaking of the display, both variants feature the same WQXGA display that delivers a refresh rate of 144 Hz and covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
LG packs plenty of ports, including 2 x USB 4 Gen 3, 2 x Type C, 1 x Display Port, 1 x Thunderbolt 4, 2 x USB 3.2 Gen 1, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Furthermore, the LG Gram Pro 2025 lineup features a 90 Wh Li-ion battery, which is said to offer up to 27 hours of battery life on a single charge. Plus, there’s also an Intel WiFi 7 chip and Bluetooth 5.4 for wireless networking.
The LG Gram Pro 2025 models are equipped with an FHD IR webcam that supports Windows Hello facial recognition. Other features include Gram Link 2.0, LG’s Gram AI with Gram Chat, Windows 11 Home, a backlit keyboard, and Copilot-powered AI tools.
The LG Gram Pro 16Z90TR variant is priced at $2,799.99, while the 17Z90TR model comes with a slightly cheaper price tag of $2,549.99. Both models are now available for purchase via LG.com and LG’s authorized retailers.
