Xiaomi debuts new magnetic power bank with built-in cable and 33W fast charging support

Xiaomi has introduced new accessories in China, one of which is a magnetic wireless power bank. Called the Xiaomi 10000, the portable charger features a rated capacity of 10,000mAh. According to the company, this capacity is more than enough to charge the Xiaomi 14 about 1.9 times and the iPhone 16 Pro two times.

However, the main highlight of this power bank is support for wireless charging. Xiaomi says that the portable charger has a wide magnetic block distribution, ensuring a stable and strong attraction area. Besides the MagSafe-enabled iPhones, this magnetic wireless charging works with some recently launched Android phones, like the Oppo Find X8.

As for the charging speed, in the wireless mode, the Xiaomi 10000 magnetic power bank maxes out at 7.5W. There is a built-in cable and a USB-C port for wired charging, and in wired mode, the portable charger maxes out at 33W. This fast charging rate allows it to charge the Xiaomi 14 to 74% in just 30 minutes and the iPhone 16 Pro to 58% in the same period.

On the note of wired charging, this Xiaomi power bank has a built-in cable and a USB-C port. These two, combined with the wireless charging, allow it to charge three devices at the same time.

There's support for quick self-charging as well, with the company saying that the portable charger can self-charge at 30W. Other highlights include a portable and compact design, multiple protection features, and availability in four different colorways. The Xiaomi 10000 magnetic wireless power bank will be available in China on January 2 at CNY 169, which is around $23. There's no word on global availability yet.
