The Redmi Turbo 4 will be among the very first phones to feature the newly launched MediaTek Dimensity 8400. Xiaomi will be using a customized variant of this SoC, which will give it the Ultra suffix. However, it's not clear what will be different from the regular version of the chipset.
Nonetheless, the promotional posters of the Turbo 4 recently got spotted in China, and now, the company has officially shared the promo materials on social media. Per the latest posts, this new mid-range phone will make its official debut in China on January 2, 2025.
These official promotional posters have also confirmed the design of the Redmi Turbo 4. As we shared in our last coverage, the phone indeed has an iPhone 16-like design on the back, featuring two vertical cameras in a vertical pill-shaped camera island.
Xiaomi has also shared the details of these two image sensors. As recent leaks suggested, the primary camera is a 50 MP sensor, while the secondary is an 8 MP ultrawide. When it comes to the front, the official promotional images show nearly flat sides with slim bezels.
Other details about the Redmi Turbo 4 are still under wraps, but recent reports suggested that the front will feature a 6.67-inch LTPS OLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The leaks have also shared that the internals will be powered by a 6,550 mAh battery with support for 90 watts fast charging (Anker 737 power bank curr. $106.48 on Amazon).
As for the global debut, Xiaomi is expected to bring the Redmi Turbo 4 outside China as the Poco X7 Pro. If that stands correct, the rumored Pro variant could launch globally as the Poco F7.
