The Oppo Find N3 was launched back in October 2023. This year, the company did not release a successor to the foldable phone. However, the leaks and rumors suggest that the company will be launching the Find N5 in 2025. Oppo is likely to skip the Find N4 due to the number 4 carrying a negative connotation in Chinese culture. A new leak has emerged revealing potential specifications of the Find N5.
The latest leak regarding the Oppo Find N5 was posted on Weibo, a Chinese social media site. According to the leak, the phone will feature a 6.4-inch external display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The inner display is tipped to be an 8-inch panel with 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
The camera setup may feature a 50MP primary shooter, 50MP ultra-wide lens, and 50MP telephoto lens. Powering the foldable phone is expected to be the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset providing flagship performance. The leak also suggests a large 5,700mAh battery capacity with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging support. Finally, the phone is said to have up to 16GB RAM and 1TB internal storage.
The Find N5 is expected to launch after the Chinese New Year 2025, making February a possible month for release. Since the Oppo Find N3 was rebranded as the OnePlus Open for the global market, we anticipate the Find N5 to be launched as the OnePlus Open 2 in markets outside of China.
