The new Dimensity 8350 processor for Android smartphones is headed for India in the form of the Reno 13 series. The country's next Oppo AI smartphones are touted as stylish mobile photography machines that may also support flagship-level wireless charging. The vanilla 13 also seems to have acquired a new color option for its new market.

Oppo touts the Reno 13 Series to stay "Stylish Every Moment" during its impending launch on the Indian market.

The OEM has confirmed that its first Dimensity 8350-powered smartphones will have the same updated, nearly iPhone 16-like build in its new region - although the 13 Pro augments the look with a high-end periscope zoom lens as a third shooter missing from its vanilla sibling.

The Pro will have the same butterfly wing-patterned purple and plainer black colorways introduced to China in late 2024, renamed Mist Lavender and Graphite Gray respectively for their Indian audience.

Similarly, the 13 will come in Ivory White, but has laid its pink colorway aside for a new, exclusive Luminous Blue option which, in keeping with its name, seems to be the only SKU with LED backlighting for its camera hump.

Both smartphones are touted to support Oppo AI with what should be a version of ColorOS based on Android 15. Oppo has yet to confirm whether the global versions of the Reno 13 series will support the brand's latest 50W magnetic wireless charging standard, though.

Either way, the OEM has partnered with Flipkart to debut the new smartphones online on January 9, 2025.

In the meantime, the Reno12 Pro is available at up to 43% off its original INR 55,000 starting price on Amazon right now.
