The Find N5 is slated to have global and Chinese-market versions on its impending launch, and the one that has most recently sneaked onto Geekbench ahead of this event is likely to be among the latter.
It is thought to be the premium device's Satellite Communications Edition (like that of the Find X8 Pro and probably the X8 Ultra) as it has the model number PKH120 rather than PKH110 as in the Find N5's last reported benchmarking leak.
Both models have posted scores of ~3,000 and >8,000 in single- and multi-core tests respectively: high for the average device, but on the slightly indifferent side for one with the Snapdragon 8 Elite silicon with which the N5 is now linked.
However, a closer look reveals that, while the PKH120 has dual Oryon Gen 2 Prime cores clocked at 4.32GHz like any other 8 Elite, it also has 5 3.53GHz Oryon Gen 2 Performance cores rather than 6 as in non-foldable flagships like the OnePlus 13.
Qualcomm is thought to have developed this truncated SoC variant specially for foldable devices such as the N5. The smartphone has 16GB of RAM and Android 15 in its latest leak anyway.
Accordingly, the Oppo Find N5 is a device tipped to have the option of satellite connectivity as well as an enlarged foldable display, improved ingress protection and updated Hasselblad rear cameras, all in the thinnest package yet.
One thing it will not have is a OnePlus twin, though, leaving the original Open as the only foldable smartphone from that brand available on Amazon. It is discounted by $400 to $1,299.99 today (February 16, 2025), at least.
