Oppo has officially revealed the launch date for its next-generation foldable, the Find N5. The foldable is all set to go official in China and international markets on February 20. Ahead of the official launch, Oppo has confirmed the color, RAM, and storage variants of the Find N5.

The Chinese tech giant Oppo has finally confirmed the launch date of the Oppo Find N5. The global launch of the company’s next-generation foldable flagship smartphone is slated for 20 February 2025 at 7 PM (GMT 8+) Singapore time. Interestingly, it will also launch in China on the same day. However, the Oppo Find 5 is already up for pre-orders on Oppo China’s website as well as other authorized retailers such as JD.com.

Ahead of the official launch, the Find N5 pre-order listing on Oppo China’s website has revealed RAM, storage, and color variants. The phone will be available in three variants in China: 12 GB + 256 GB, 16 GB + 512 GB, and 16 GB + 1 TB. The listing also revealed that the top-end variant will support satellite connectivity.

Visually, the smartphone will be sold in Satin Black, Jade White, and Dusk Purple colorways in China. Although the global teaser doesn’t show the leather back, i.e., the Purple variant, indicating it may never arrive in the international markets. This also means that the device will be sold in two shades globally. However, it remains to be seen whether the Purple variant will be made available later.

The Oppo Find N5 will come as a successor to the Find N3 that debuted on October 19, 2023. The company also revealed that the Find N5 will be the first foldable from Oppo to use a 3D-printed titanium alloy hinge. Moreover, Oppo’s chief product officer, Pete Lau, has recently confirmed via its official X handle that the device will also be the first foldable to support IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 ratings.

Earlier reports suggest that the foldable smartphone will come with an 8.12-inch flat foldable display, a 50 MP triple rear camera setup, Qualcomm’s top-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset (also found on the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra (curr. $1,294 on Amazon) and Honor Magic 7 Pro), a 5,700 mAh battery with support for 80 W wired and 50 W wireless charging.

The Oppo Find N5 is also available for pre-order in Singapore, and the company is also offering an Oppo Pen stylus worth SG $159 for those who pre-order the N5 in Singapore. Alongside the Find N5, Oppo will also introduce the Oppo Watch X2 in China, which comes as a successor to the Watch X.
