Oppo executive Zhou Yibao has provided fresh looks at the Find N5, which is expected to launch in many markets as the OnePlus Open 2. For context, CEO Pete Lau showcased the former earlier this week in a series of pictures in which its foldable display could be seen for the first time next to the Galaxy Z Fold6 (curr. $1,256.99 on Amazon).
This time, Oppo has sanctioned photos of a box fresh Find N5, which we have embedded below. If these new photos are anything to go by, then the Find N5 and OnePlus Open 2 should deliver an almost crease-free experience within a much thinner housing than their direct predecessors. This even appears true when the display is disabled, unlike many contemporary foldables.
Zhou Yibao has confirmed that Oppo will be including a protective case with the Find N5, which protects its back panel and hinge mechanism. As always, Oppo will also install a plastic outer screen protector that runs almost to the edges of its large cover display. The Find N5 should be available globally in under two weeks' time. Seemingly, this launch window will apply to the OnePlus Open 2 as well, whose predecessor debuted simultaneously alongside the Find N3 in October 2023.
