Oppo is a mere two weeks away from officially unveiling the Find N5. With a company executive having confirmed yesterday that the handset will launch in China and globally simultaneously, CEO Pete Lau has finally revealed what the device's foldable display looks like, which should also extend to that of the OnePlus Open 2.
While prior teasers emphasised the Find N5's ultra-thin profile, Lau has focused on its foldable display crease, which he claims is undetectable. Although factually inaccurate, a display crease can be made out even in these PR-approved pictures, it looks as though the device has a less noticeable crease than the OnePlus Open (curr. $1,299.99 on Amazon). With that being said, it remains to be seen whether the intensity of this crease will increase over time, as is the case with almost every foldable smartphone going.
The same image confirms the return of relatively thick inner display bezels too, particularly compared to the class-leading Galaxy Z Fold6 in this regard. Likewise, an inner selfie camera mounted in the top-right-hand corner will be another returning feature; repositioned microphones and speakers are visible, though. Currently, the Find N5 is expected to officially debut around February 19 or February 20 with the same design as the OnePlus Open 2.
