New Guitar-hero style game launches on Steam with "Very Positive" reviews and introductory discount

Rhythm games have a way of pulling players in with easy-to-grab mechanics and catchy soundtracks. Rift of the NecroDancer is the latest entry in this genre, and it has just launched on Steam. The game is already making waves with a "Very Positive" rating from over 300 user reviews.

Developed by Brace Yourself Games and Tic Toc Games, the game released on February 5, 2025, and is currently available with a 10% discount, bringing its price down to $17.99 until February 11. The new installment builds on the rhythm mechanics of its predecessor, Crypt of the NecroDancer, but shifts towards a gameplay style more reminiscent of Guitar Hero.
