The OnePlus Open was launched in 2023 as a rebranded Oppo Find N3. Oppo has now confirmed that the successor to the Find N3 will be released in February in China. The upcoming Oppo Find N5 will likely launch as the OnePlus Open 2 for the international market.
Ahead of the launch of the new foldable phones, a new leak has emerged online revealing the design and other key details. The leak highlights four points of the Find N5, which we assume will also be true for the OnePlus Open 2.
The first point, according to the leak, is that the camera module is placed in the center. The leaked images reveal it will be a circular cutout similar to the OnePlus 13. The leak further states that the telephoto lens will be placed in the upper left corner, the flash in the lower right corner, and the Hasselblad branding in the center.
Oppo's Senior Vice President Liu Zuohu has touted the Find N5 as the world’s thinnest foldable smartphone, which could dethrone the Honor Magic V3 currently holding that title. The Honor Magic V3 measures 4.35mm when unfolded. According to the leak, the Oppo Find N5 measures less than 9.2mm when folded and around 4mm in the unfolded position.
Moreover, the leaker suggests that the crease of the display is also minimal. The leaked image of the inner display reveals a punch-hole notch for selfie camera in the top right corner. Lastly, it is said that the phone will be available in white, black, and additional color options.
