The company has revealed that the Find N5 can shoot videos underwater. In a promo video posted on Weibo, the phone was tested at depths of 6-8 meters, and it was able to successfully capture videos underwater.
For comparison, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 has an IP48 rating making it water-resistant to a depth of 1.5 meters for up to 30 minutes. Another popular foldable, the Honor Magic V3, offers IPX8 rating. Hence, the Find N5 is expected to be the most advanced foldable smartphone in terms of water resistance.
The exact launch date of the Find N5 is not disclosed. Though, we expect the phone to arrive in March in China. Meanwhile, the OnePlus Open 2 may be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, scheduled for March.
The Find N5 was recently spotted on Geekbench with a 7-core Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. Previously, a leak revealed the design of the phone, suggesting a camera module inspired by the OnePlus 13 and an improved crease on the inner display.
