Now we expect OnePlus to launch a third model in the Ace 5 lineup. The exact name of the device is not known. However, it is expected to be called the OnePlus Ace 5s or the Ace 5V. Ahead of official confirmation, a leak has surfaced online revealing information regarding the upcoming device.
The leak comes from tipster Smart Pikachu on Weibo, a Chinese social media site. The tipster suggests the upcoming mid-range OnePlus phone will have a large flat display. The leaker suggests that the phone will have high scores in benchmarks, indicating that it will be a performance-oriented smartphone.
It is tipped to come with a Dimensity processor. The leak does not reveal the exact name of the chipset. However, it is expected to be a Dimensity 9000 series chipset. Previously, popular tipster, Digital Chat Station revealed that OnePlus will launch a phone with Dimensity 9350 or Dimensity 9400 processor.
Tipster Smart Pikachu reveals that the phone will launch in Q2 2025. The OnePlus Ace 5 was rebranded with slight changes for the global market and launched as the OnePlus 13R. Hence, the upcoming mid-range phone may also get rebranded for the international markets. However, since this is all unconfirmed from the company, take it with a grain of salt.
