In January, Nothing confirmed that the Nothing Phone (2a) would receive at least one successor on March 4, with the manufacturer rumored to be introducing two models at once. SmartPrix has now just discovered the most important specifications of the Nothing Phone (3a) and the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro.
Accordingly, the two smartphones differ primarily in terms of the rear camera module. While the Nothing Phone (3a) is expected to have a 50 MP main camera and an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro is said to have an additional 50 MP telephoto camera with triple optical zoom, optical image stabilization and a macro mode. This camera is said to be based on the Sony LYT-600 in 1/1.95 inch format.
Apart from that, the features of the two models are said to be practically identical, right down to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, a 4 nm ARM chip with three ARM Cortex-A720 performance cores and four Cortex-A520 efficiency cores. Both models feature a 6.72-inch, 120 Hz AMOLED display, a 5,000 mAh battery with 45 watt fast charging, a 32 MP selfie camera and an IP64-certified housing that is only protected against water splashes.
The Nothing Phone (3a) will be launched in India for the equivalent of around $288, while the Pro model will cost $345, although prices in Europe and the US are likely to be somewhat higher.
