The 10R is officially slated to debut as a new addition to its iQoo Neo series of performance-focused Android smartphones soon. It is backed to disrupt its mid-range segment of the Indian market with high frame-rate gaming and a distinctive two-tone paint-job. The Neo 10R might also boast effective battery life thanks to its Qualcomm chipset.

The Neo 10R is now officially linked to Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 silicon in its latest teasers, a pre-launch revelation that might invite speculation that it will be a re-branded Z9 Turbo or even Z9 Turbo Endurance Edition - it even has the same "OIS" badge for its camera hump.

If that were the case, iQoo might have devoted at least some of its hype to the 10R's battery capacity. Instead, the OEM highlights its upcoming Neo-series variant's potential for "stable 90 fps" gaming with an "instant" 2,000Hz touch-sampling rate.

The 10R is also generally touted to become the "fastest smartphone" of its segment, as its first 8s Gen 3 device. Therefore, its starting price might fall below that of the Neo 9 Pro (at INR 39,999 (~$456), although it can be found for INR 31,999 (~$90 less) on Amazon.in right now).

The 10R has also been revealed to reprise the 9 Pro's signature two-tone finish, albeit in Raging Blue glass rather than Fiery Red vegan leather. The newer device will also be available in a plainer, monolithic Moonknight Titanium color (hopefully iQoo will not end up in trouble with Marvel Studios over that one).

Both SKUs of the Neo 10R will be unleashed as an Amazon Special in India from March 11, 2025.
