After an Oppo representative recently commented on the impending launch of the Find N5, things are now getting a little more concrete. Oppo's Senior Vice President Liu Zuaho has just outlined a concrete launch window on Chinese network Weibo, namely February 1–28, 2025. During this period, the successor to the Oppo Find N3 will initially launch in China, while the global launch is likely to take place a little later, possibly at the Mobile World Congress in early March.
Another exciting aspect of the teaser (see image below) is the apparent thickness of the flagship foldable, which is said to measure less than 9.2 mm when folded or 4.4 mm when unfolded. These are the dimensions of the world's thinnest foldable to date, the Honor Magic V3, and Oppo will have to break this record if the advertisement of the Snapdragon 8 Elite-equipped OnePlus Open 2 as the world's thinnest foldable phone is really true.
As the image shows, the Oppo flagship foldable is less bulky than a pencil and has flat edges and rounded corners. According to earlier leaks, a Hasselblad camera and three 50 MP sensors are on board in addition to a periscope lens, wireless charging and waterproof housing. Render images based on a prototype have also already surfaced, according to which the design will undergo only minimal changes compared to the OnePlus Open.
