The Poco X7 Pro is coming to the global market as a rebranded Redmi Turbo 4 on January 9. However, it seems that not all the regions will get a 1:1 rebrand of the Chinese phone. Xiaomi has recently confirmed that the Indian variant will feature the same 6,550 mAh battery as the Chinese variant, but the case won't be the same for other regions.
As confirmed by the official global X account, the Poco X7 Pro will sport a 6,000 mAh battery instead. We've seen companies doing this with the recently launched phones. The OnePlus 13R, for example, was expected to be a complete rebrand of the Ace 5, but as revealed by the company, the global smartphone will see a downgrade in terms of the battery.
To be specific, while the Ace 5 sports a 6,415 mAh battery, the OnePlus 13R is confirmed to feature a 6,000 mAh battery (20K Ugreen Nexode power bank curr. $66.99 on Amazon). Recent reports also suggest that there could be another change in the specs, and the same may happen for the Poco X7 Pro. However, for OnePlus's upcoming affordable phone, the other reported change is an upgrade. Given Xiaomi didn't confirm all the other specs of the global Redmi Turbo 4, it's not clear whether the same will remain true for it.
So, if things don't change further, the other core specs besides the battery of the Poco X7 Pro should remain the same in all regions. That includes the same 50 MP primary camera on the back as the Redmi Turbo 4, a 20 MP front camera, Gorilla Glass 7i protection, and IP66/68/69 ratings.
