The Moto G05 is a smartphone of Motorola's latest design finished in "Pantone-curated" Plum Red or Forest Green vegan leather, yet goes for just €129 (~$132) on Amazon in Germany. Now, it is bringing its affordable style to a new country in 2025.
The G05's 6.67-inch display is touted to become its "segment's" brightest (1,000 nit) soon. It also has Dolby Atmos and Gorilla Glass (3), although it is also only 90Hz, 720p and LCD.
The device also has only 1 functional rear camera, although Motorola insists the "Quad Pixel" shooter will also become a class-leader in its price-bracket.
The OEM also promises 2-day battery life out of the G05 - however, its capacity is 5,200mAh rather than a more on-trend 6,000mAh to 7,000mAh spec. Finally, the upcoming smartphone runs on the 12 nanometer (nm) Helio G81 Extreme.
Motorola has partnered with Flipkart to bring the Moto G05 to India from January 7, 2025.
