Motorola launches the Moto G35 5G budget smartphone in India
Motorola has introduced its latest budget smartphone, the Moto G35 5G. The brand’s new entry-level smartphone brings a familiar design and a few upgrades in key areas. This time, Motorola went with the Unisoc chipset for its budget 5G smartphone. To recall, Motorola used the Snapdragon 695 5G chipset for the Moto G34 smartphone.
The Moto G35 is powered by a Unisoc T760 processor paired with an Mali-G57 MC4 GPU. It packs 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Software-wise, the smartphone runs Android 14-based Motorola’s Hello UI out of the box. The company promises one OS update (Android 15) and two years of security updates.
The device has a 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and 1000 nits peak brightness. The panel has a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection layer. Furthermore, the 5G-enabled smartphone features a dual rear camera array consisting of a 50 MP primary camera and an 8 MP ultrawide shooter, a step up from the Moto G34's 2 MP. It has a 16 MP front camera for selfies and video chats.
The smartphone retains the same battery capacity as its predecessor. The device has a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 18 W wired charging. Other features include an IP52 water-and dust-resistance rating, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
Available in Leaf Green, Midnight Black, and Guava Red, the Moto G35 5G has a starting price of INR 9,999 (roughly $117) for the 4 GB + 128 GB model. You can snag one via Motorola’s official website, Flipkart, and other authorized retailers starting from 16th December.
