New Motorola Razr foldable revealed to give Samsung another run for its money
It seems that Motorola is not done with its Galaxy Z Flip6 rivals just yet. So far, the company has effectively introduced two devices, albeit under multiple names. On the one hand, it sells the Razr 2024 and Razr 2024 Plus (curr. $989.99 on Amazon) in North America. On the other hand, it offers the pair broadly in other markets as the Razr 50 and Razr 50 Ultra.
With that being said, it latterly launched the Razr 50s with the same specifications as the Razr 2024 and Razr 50. Now, Motorola has certified another Razr 50 series model with the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC), which is often a sign of a company's intention to officially release a device. However, there is no guarantee that this will be the case.
At any rate, the unreleased device in question is the Razr 50s Ultra, which the WPC certified on November 6. On the face of it, the Razr 50s Ultra is the spitting image of the existing Razr 50 Ultra. Similarities extend beyond looks, too.
Specifically, the Razr 50s Ultra and Razr 50 Ultra share the same root model number, XT2451. In all likelihood, the Razr 50s Ultra will be a region or network carrier-specific version of the Razr 50 Ultra with an identical feature set. Please see our review of the latter for our thoughts on Motorola's latest high-end foldable.
