Deal | Motorola Razr+ 2024 crashes to $749 on Amazon, severely undercutting the Galaxy Z Flip 6
The Motorola Razr+ 2024 a.k.a Razr 50 Ultra is Motorola's flagship foldable for this year, launching alongside the more affordable Razr 2024 a.k.a Razr 50. Its closest rival is Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip 6, which it undercuts with its lower price tag. Now, as part of its Black Friday sales, Amazon has slashed the price of the Razr+ 2024, making it even more of a bargain.
When the Razr+ 2024 was announced in June, it cost $999.99, $100 cheaper than the Galaxy Z Flip 6. Less than six months later, Amazon has slashed the price tag by 25%, bringing it down to $749.99. However, this price tag is exclusive to the Spring Green color option. The other colors have also gotten a price cut, but to $799.99 which translates to a 20% discount. The phone is also on sale on Motorola's website but all the colors are priced at $799.99. Regardless of the color you choose, you are getting a pretty solid foldable smartphone.

The Razr+ 2024 has a cover display that is so big, owners might not even need to flip it open to use the inner screen which is also a 165Hz LTPO panel. It has a pretty sturdy hinge, IPX8 water resistance rating, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. Although the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 is a bit of a let down compared to the Snapdragon 8 gen 3 inside the Galaxy Z Flip 6.
The Razr+ 2024 also ditches the ultrawide angle camera for a telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom as its secondary rear camera. While it is unusual, it is actually a good sensor. Unfortunately, the Razr+ 2024 doesn't have display output support as it is equipped with a USB 2.0 port.
Motorola's foldable also charges much faster than Samsung's, but doesn't come with a charger in the box. It also has Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, and in our review, it performed better than the Galaxy S24 Ultra (curr. available on Amazon for $1069.99) in terms of network performance.
The Razr+ 2024 ships with Android 14 and Motorola has promised it will get 3 major OS upgrades (up to Android 17) and four years of bi-monthly security updates.
