Redmi K80: Leak reveals design and camera details

The Redmi K70 series was introduced last year, bringing several performance-oriented devices to the lineup. Now, the Chinese company is reportedly preparing to launch the K80 lineup. It is expected to feature three new devices including the Redmi K80e, K80, and K80 Pro. 

A new leak has surfaced on the Chinese social media site Weibo (via Gizmochina), revealing an alleged Redmi K80 in a real-life image. The leak showcases the device in a white color option. It has a circular camera module giving it a different look compared to its predecessor. The round camera module design resembles that of the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro.

The leaked phone seems to have three camera sensors. While the branding on the camera housing reveals that the primary sensor is a 50MP shooter with OIS. 

The Redmi K80 series is expected to be released in China by the end of this month. Last year’s Redmi K70 was rebranded as the Poco F6 Pro for the global market. Hence, it will not be a surprise if the Redmi K80 launches as the Poco F7 Pro in the global market.
