Oppo reveals global launch timeline for Dimensity 9400-powered Find X8 series

Vivo was the first to introduce next-gen flagship phones with the Dimensity 9400, all falling under the X200 series. However, they are still China-exclusive, and Vivo has yet to officially share details on the global launch. The Oppo Find X8 series, on the other hand, only became official yesterday, October 24, and it's now confirmed to launch outside China soon.

More specifically, Oppo's Indonesian official X account shares that the Find X8 lineup will step outside the Chinese market in November. The post doesn't confirm any specific date, nor does it shed light on which countries will get the new Dimensity 9400 flagships.

However, based on Oppo's past global launches, the Find X8 series is expected to land in the key regions in Europe and Asia. For those who missed our launch coverages, this new lineup brings two phones, with a third expected to be introduced later this year.

Among the two, the standard variant has a 6.59-inch screen, while the Find X8 Pro features a 6.78-inch display. But that's not the only difference between the two. The standard has three cameras on the back, while the Pro has four. Both have a 50 MP primary, a 50 MP ultrawide, and a 50 MP periscope telephoto with 3x optical zoom.

The Pro adds a second 50 MP periscope telephoto with 6 x optical zoom. Both have different batteries as well, with the standard featuring a rated capacity of 5,630 mAh, while the Pro has a 5,910 mAh battery. However, the rated charging speed is the same, at 50W for wireless and 80W for wired charging (87W Anker 20K power bank curr. $44.99 on Amazon).

As for the price, the standard Find X8 starts at CNY 4,199 (about $590), and the Find X8 Pro at CNY 5,299 (around $744) in China. Oppo is yet to reveal the global pricing and configuration details.
