DVDFab unveils Bookfab AI AudioBook Creator to tap into top revenue-generating market
DVDFab has released the BookFab AudioBook Creator for audiobook creators with an MSRP of $59.99. The AI-powered software quickly converts text to audio files using 20 different AI voices in English and Japanese.
Many people worldwide do not like reading, are vision-impaired, or do not have the time to look at printed publications for long hours. For example, truck drivers are often on the road for eight or more hours a day, so looking at a book is impossible despite having many hours free to listen to something.
Worldwide, audiobooks are among the most widely used and highest revenue-generating audio entertainment products available. Deloitte ranks the top audio entertainment formats in 2024 as follows:
- Radio - $42 billion with 4 billion listeners
- Streaming music - $23 billion with 750 million listeners
- Audiobooks - $7 billion with 270 million listeners
- Podcasts - $3.5 billion with 1.7 billion listeners
The software can run on 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10, and 11 and requires 4 GB of RAM along with 40 GB of free storage space. An Internet connection is required as well to convert copied text or TXT files to MP3 and OPUS audio files.
Creators can easily correct pronunciations of difficult words and customize the text reading rules. Abbreviations in the text can also have custom spoken output associated with them. The 20 voices can have their expressivity, prosody, silence gaps, and speech speed tuned for the perfect vocal performance in English or Japanese. Human voice actors can be cloned in a future update of the software.
Readers who love listening to audio entertainment at home and on-the-go can enjoy powerful bass and rich vocals from a JBL Flip 6 Bluetooth speaker (sold here on Amazon) while reviewing their latest audiobook works before publication.
