Xiaomi touts new crowdfunding project as World's Smartest Coffee Maker

The Xiaomi Crowdfunding platform that brought you the Amovan Nova smart ring now presents a...coffee maker. Then again, the Seven & Me is touted to deliver café-worthy drinks in the smartest way possible.

Accordingly, it seems to rival the Ninja Luxe in that it consolidates all that is needed to make cappuccinos, lattes and macchiatos in addition to espresso in 1 machine. Then again, the Seven & Me is much more compact and straightforward in that it consists of a touch control-operated stand with heat-plates for just 2 vessels.

One is rated to make double "espressos" - however, as the drink is brewed by boiling water with the stand that is then forced upward through a funnel full of grounds, it is technically moka pot coffee instead.

The Seven & Me version's shape is wider and rounder than that of the classic Bialetti, as seen in this Moka Elettrika on Amazon. It sits next to its matching pitcher, rated to convert milk into "perfect" foam by itself through the use of a 5,000RPM magnetic system.

Therefore, that part of the Seven & Me seemingly consists of not much more than a fancy stir-bar. Then again, it is also rated to keep milk at an apparently ideal 60°C (140°F) for steaming.

Its spinning action also supports the preparation of other drinks such as matcha and hot chocolate.
