New Xiaomi Smart Rice Cooker launches as cheaper model
The Xiaomi Smart Multifunctional Rice Cooker is now on sale in Europe. The kitchen gadget has a 3L capacity, producing around ten bowls of rice, allowing you to cook for up to six people. Alternatively, the device can be used to steam vegetables.
The Smart Multifunctional Rice Cooker has temperature sensors to ensure the rice cooks evenly and does not boil over. You can control the smart rice cooker via the Mi Home or Xiaomi Home apps, available for iOS and Android, controlling settings such as cooking time, desired texture and inputting the rice type. Alternatively, you can adjust the device using the integrated buttons. The cooking start time can be delayed by up to 24 hours, and cooked rice can be kept warm for up to 12 hours. A built-in display can indicate the remaining cooking time, and the inner lid and steam valve are detachable for easy cleaning.
The cooker measures 325 × 244 × 202 mm (~12.8 x 9.6 x 8.0 inches), has an aluminum alloy inner pot with a non-stick coating and comes with accessories like a steamer basket, rice paddle, ladle, and measuring cup.
