Xiaomi Smart Water Dispenser (Hot and Cold) on the way

Xiaomi appears to be about to launch a new Smart Water Dispenser (Hot and Cold) globally. The product recently appeared on the brand’s global website, and could be used in your kitchen, bedroom or home office.

The Smart Water Dispenser has four preset water volume options, from a 300 ml glass to a 3-litre jug. As its name suggests, the machine can produce hot and cold water, with users able to adjust the temperature in 1°C (~1.8°F) steps. According to Xiaomi, hot water can be generated in as little as three seconds thanks to a 2,180W heating element. Cold water is instant, with a minimum temperature of 7 °C (~45°F). A digital LED screen on the top of the device indicates the current water temperature as well as the device’s status. Plus, you can view further information and control the machine’s settings via the Xiaomi Home/Mi Home app. Other features include an integrated night light and child lock, and the water tank is removable for easier cleaning.

The product is described as compact, measuring 345 x 340 x 130 mm (~13.6 x 13.4 x 5.1 inches). Details of where the Xiaomi Smart Water Dispenser (Hot and Cold) will launch, the pricing and release date remain to be seen. The device is likely to launch in European countries like Germany, where the company already sells smart home products like the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum X20+ (curr. €399.98).
