Amazfit smartwatch gets optimizations and bug fixes in latest update
Amazfit Balance smartwatch users have reported another update. Software version 3.22.9.1 is the third release in the series, following version 3.22.8.1 and the original version 3.22.7.1. While the core features of this update, like Zepp Flow read aloud notifications and the Hyrox Race activity, are the same, there are several improvements and bug fixes.
Compared to version 3.22.7.1, version 3.22.9.1 brings optimizations to notifications in the Notification Center that are linked to more detailed pages, like the Morning Update. Plus, the sports record display page has been redesigned for an enhanced experience. The Zepp OS team has tackled issues with abnormalities in health data and swimming activity records. On top of this, a problem where the Balance wearable could not be restarted has been resolved.
However, an issue with notifications for apps like Telegram, where the end of the message is shown rather than the beginning, persists. An Amazfit representative provided an update on this problem on Reddit, suggesting that it could be resolved via an OTA update this November.
Amazfit tends to roll out its software updates for the Amazfit Balance smartwatch in phases; there is currently no indication as to when all users can expect to receive the update. When it is available, you will be able to download software version 3.22.9.1 from the Zepp App under Profile > My Devices > Amazfit Balance > System Update.
